Prosecutor: Castro a coward in death as in life
Wed Sep 4, 2013
How ironic! This coward was able to keep 3 young women captive, but just couldn't handle his own captivity. He won't be missed.
Protests over Mexico education reform spill over into violence
Mon Sep 2, 2013
This story reads like something written by a Mexican. It's a definitive textbook example of half-assed reporting. It would've earned the writer an F in the Journalism 101 class I took back in '76.
Arab states call for international action against Syrian regime
Sun Sep 1, 2013
If the Arabs "demand" intervention against Assad then let the Arabs intervene on their own behalf. Frankly, they are in a position to demand nothing. The US, on the other hand, is in a position to grant nothing.
No decision on release of US woman jailed in Mexico on drug allegations
Wed May 29, 2013
Ever wonder why Mexico is such a poor country? Because it's run by Mexicans! Ever wonder why Mexicans eat re-fried beans? Because they can't do anything right the first time! Ever wonder why Mexicans risk their lives fleeing that country? I don't.
Virginia city becomes first to pass anti-drone resolution
Tue Feb 5, 2013
Since they're both piloted remotely, I wonder if there is a legal distinction between a "drone" and a radio-controlled aircraft such as you can buy in a hobby shop. I want a drone of my own!
Giving the boss a gift could be bad for your career
Tue Nov 27, 2012
I say, "Not only No, but Hell No!". The boss is not entitled to any more of a token of appreciation than he/she gives his/her employees on a daily basis. Most bosses exploit their employees, and many are quite brazen about it.
'Super-Earth' alien planet may be capable of supporting life
Wed Nov 7, 2012
Oh, there's life out there all right. Intellegent life. They've been here and checked us out. Now the word has been spread throughout our Galaxy: Stay away from Earth! Those people are crazy, and they are dangerous!
First lady rocks recycled style on election night
Wed Nov 7, 2012
I was alive then, and I remember very well what a beautiful and articulate lady Mrs. Kennedy was. I don't think she ever wore the same dress twice. Michelle is half the reason I voted for her husband. As First Lady, she's tops!
Michelle, Ann pick similar shapes, somber shades at final debate
Tue Oct 23, 2012
Half of my motivation for supporting Obama is that I really like Michelle as First Lady. She has real class. Somehow, I just can't see Ann Romney in that role.
Christina Hendricks: 'Calling me full-figured is just rude'
Fri Oct 5, 2012
"Full-figured" isn't rude; it's a euphamism. "Stacked" is rude. Either way, she's a Brick House!
